5 BILLION RUBLES WILL BE INVESTED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MORDOVIA AGRICULTURE
The investments are aimed at construction and reconstruction of greenhouses, construction of a power park and a boiler house for “Teplichnoye” greenhouse and construction of 1000-cow unit. ZAO “Mordovskiy bekon” (pork production) will continue the reconstruction of feed milling and treatment facilities in Torbeevo.
In Ichalky district there will be completed the construction of a shed for 1,000 cows. Another cowshed will be constructed in Insar district together with a unit for 4,800 breeding pigs. In Kovylkino district they will also build a unit for 4,800 breeding pigs
According to Vladimir Sidorov, 50 million rubles from the budget of the Republic will be spent to purchase highly productive livestock for new and acting dairy units. The republic will also compensate up to 50 percent of the agrarian companies’ expenses for filling the empty cattle stalls with dairy cattle.
