80 HECTARES OF LANDFILLS WILL BE RECULTIVATED OVER 5 YEARS IN MORDOVIA
Due to the national project called Ecology over 80 hectares of landfills and scrapyards will be recultivated over five years in Mordovia.
The regional project called Clean Country provides for a large-scale clean-up of unauthorized landfills in five regions of the republic: the municipal solid waste dumps in the regional centers of Zubova Polyana with an area of 14.9 hectares, Yelniki (seven hectares), Atyurievo (four hectares), Kovylkino and Temnikov (3.8 and 2.46 hectares respectively).
Overmore, the decommissioned landfill for the disposal of solid domestic and industrial waste in the city district of Saransk will be recultivated. The area of the object is 49.69 hectares.
The total of 1514.22 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes.
