THE CONGRESS OF FARMERS OF MORDOVIA WAS HELD IN SARANSK

On January 12, the first Congress of Farmers of the Republic of Mordovia was held on the basis of the Agrarian Institute of the Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev. The participants of this important event were welcomed by the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov. The Head of the republic noted the importance of livestock farming. Since 2018, the number of cattle in the republic's farms has decreased by almost 2 thousand heads annually. Last year, such a sharp decline was stopped. The Ministry of Agriculture, together with the university, will have to figure this out and propose ways to solve the problem.

“MY KIND BUSINESS” IS EXPANDING TO THE INTERREGIONAL LEVEL

In early January, the interregional stage of the All-Russian competition of projects in the field of social entrepreneurship and Socially Oriented Nonprofit Organizations (SONPO) “My Kind Business” kicked off. 900 works are participating, 22 of which represent Mordovia. Participants will compete for a place in the final of the All-Russian competition, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, with the operator being the State University of Management.

THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS EXPANDED SUPPORT MEASURES FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS

In 2024, efforts towards further development of the domestic agro-industrial complex will continue. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, has signed a resolution expanding the areas of support for Russian agrarians. For agricultural cooperatives operating in the Siberian Federal District, the reimbursement rate for expenses related to the purchase of machinery and equipment will be increased from 50% to 60%. However, the total amount of such payments should not exceed 10 million rubles.

THE NATIONAL PROJECT HELPED MORDOVIA BECOME A LEADER IN THE COUNTRY IN TERMS OF THE GROWTH OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES

The growth rate of the number of small and medium-sized enterprises in Mordovia exceeds the overall Russian indicators by more than two times. This became known following the December update, the last one this year, of the Unified Register of SMEs, which includes 6.3 million entities. It is worth noting that the number of registered SMEs is one of the key indicators of the national project “Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”.

MORDOVIA BUSINESS WILL RECEIVE ALMOST 28 MILLION RUBLES

The amount allocated to support businesses in Mordovia in 2024 has been announced. Under the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and overseen by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, the region will receive 27.6 million rubles in subsidies from the federal budget.

AT THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, THE PROSPECTIVE PROJECT WAS DISCUSSED

On December 26, during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Mordovia Development Corporation, the prospective project from Novikov Group was discussed. Next year, in Saransk, the “Syrovarnya” will open. Thanks to this new beneficial project, the sale of self-made cheeses from milk produced in Mordovia will be implemented.  The total investment volume of the project will be approximately 120 million rubles. 50 new jobs will be created.

“LEGAL GUIDE” CONTINUES TO SUPPORT SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES

Recently, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses have been receiving free legal clarifications. This became possible thanks to the launch by the SME Corporation on the Digital Platform of the “Legal Guide” service. With its assistance, entrepreneurs obtain necessary legal information on issues related to starting a business, document processing, concluding contracts, compliance with mandatory requirements, and others that SME entities encounter in their daily lives.

APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE FORUM “STRONG IDEAS FOR NEW TIMES”

Applications are still being accepted for the fourth forum “Strong Ideas for New Times” organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Roscongress Foundation and the VEB.RF. The goal of the event is to identify and support promising projects and proposals that will improve the quality of life for citizens, contribute to the development of business, economics, and technology, and enable the implementation of new educational and environmental programs nationwide.

MORDOVIA WILL RECEIVE ADDITIONAL FEDERAL FUNDS TO SUPPORT BUSINESSES

Mordovia will receive 12.7 million rubles from the federal budget. The additional funds next year will be allocated not only for providing services to manufacturers but also to support all entities of small and medium-sized businesses. Next year, representatives of the industrial business from 79 regions of the country will receive over 1.3 billion rubles through the “single window” principle. This decision has been made by the Government of the Russian Federation.

ARTYOM ZDUNOV AND THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF TOURISM.RF, SERGEY SUKHANOV, DISCUSSED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE IN MORDOVIA

On December 22 in Moscow, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, met with the Director General of the Tourism.RF corporation, Sergey Sukhanov. They discussed issues related to the development of tourism in the region, including the creation of necessary infrastructure in the Temnikov District within the framework of the pilgrimage-tourist cluster “Sanaksar-Sarov”. The pilgrimage-tourist cluster project entails a series of activities within the territory of the republic, including the construction of a highway.

ASI HAS INCORPORATED THE EXPERIENCE OF MORDOVIA INTO THE SMARTEKA BEST PRACTICES SEARCH SERVICE

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives has incorporated the experience of the Republic of Mordovia into the Smarteka best practices search service. This involves the Youth League of Vocational Education (YLVE). It is a practice aimed at involving businesses in the events of the vocational education system. Its main goals and objectives include implementing joint projects between businesses and vocational education, engaging active employees and students, assisting in organizing and conducting events, organizing and centrally administering regional information resources, supporting graduates and student initiatives, and helping employers find qualified personnel.

AN ENTERPRISE FROM MORDOVIA IS A WINNER OF THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT QUALITY AWARD

The winners of the Russian Government Quality Award 2023 have been announced. 12 organizations were noted (with a workforce of over 1,000 employees - 6; from 250 to 1,000 employees - 3; up to 250 employees - 3). In the list of honorees is an enterprise from the Republic of Mordovia. JSC “Ruzayevsky Chemical Engineering Plant” was rewarded in the category with a workforce of over 1,000 employees.
