ARTYOM ZDUNOV HELD TALKS WITH A COMPANY FROM ALGERIA
The Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, held a meeting with the Mr. Bouaraara Lotfi, the Director General of the Algerian state company Global Agri Food Spa at the site of the «Russia-Africa» Forum, which is taking place in St. Petersburg. This is reported by the press service of the Head of the region.
Artyom Zdunov presented the possibilities of Mordovia as one of the leaders in the country in the development of agricultural production. Agriculture occupies an important place in the economy of the republic - its share in the gross regional product is 2.5 times higher than the national average. Every fifth economically active resident of Mordovia works in the countryside. The Republic is one of the leading regions in the production of basic products per capita.
