BY THE END OF 2023, A SYSTEM WILL BE LAUNCHED TO SEARCH FOR INVESTORS FOR SMALL TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES
The information system will create conditions for an investor to search for a suitable startup that can offer the most optimal solution for business goals. It will aggregate data on all small technology companies (startups) in the country with the ability to search and filter their projects by a number of indicators necessary for an investor to make an investment decision.
According to Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the Register of small technology companies is a necessary tool for developing the venture investment market, popularizing the sphere of private financing of technology projects and supporting innovative activities in Russia.
«In the near future, the adoption of a law on the development of small technology companies in Russia is expected. According to it, all small technology companies will be included in a special Register, which will become the basis for the formation of targeted support measures, including the search for companies to implement the «growth» program. In addition, the platform provides great opportunities for attracting additional private funding for the implementation of projects», – the First Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
For a startup, getting into the Register will mean automatically obtaining the status of a «small technology company», access to government support measures. And it will be immediately clear to investors that the company is conscientious, has passed inspections and can be invested in.
