GAZPROM TO INCREASE INVESTMENTS IN GASIFICATION OF MORDOVIAN VILLAGES BY EIGHT TIMES
In the next five years, almost all villages in Mordovia will be gasified. More than 1200 households will receive the "blue fuel". The regional gas supply development program for the years 2021 to 2025 was signed by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Board of Gazprom, and Artyom Zdunov, interim head of the Republic of Mordovia.
It is planned to finish the technically possible chain gasification of the republic within the specified period. Gazprom will invest 2.4 billion rubles in this project, which is 8.1 times more than in the previous five-year plan.
The company will build inter-settlement gas pipelines to 39 villages in 12 regions (Atyashevsky, Bolshebereznikovsky, Elnikovsky, Zubovo-Polyansky, Ichalkovsky, Kovylkinsky, Kochkurovsky, Lyambirsky, Romodanovsky, Staroshaigovsky, Temnikovsky and Chamzinsky regions). In addition, it is planned to carry out technical re-equipment of gas distribution station No. 2 in Saransk.
Local authorities will take care of the intra-settlement gas networks construction.
