ICHALKOVSKY CHEESE-MAKING PLANT WON AWARDS AT THE COMPETITION OF ENTERPRISES OF RUSSIA AND BELARUS
A competition of cheese-making plants was held at the international dairy week in the city of Uglich, Yaroslavl region. 38 enterprises from Russia and Belarus took part in it. Mordovia was represented by the Ichalkovsky cheese-making plant, which won 6 awards at once.
The Grand Prix was given to Maasdam cheese and processed cheese with mustard. Gold medals went to «Calvet» and processed cheese «Friss». Silver went to «Farmer's» cheese and butter.
It should be noted that the Ichalkovsky plant occupies the 4th place in Russia in terms of production volumes and the 1st place in terms of assortment (more than 70 types of products).
