MORDOVIA BUSINESS RECEIVED OVER 56 MILLION RUBLES LAST YEAR

For the implementation of thenational project “Small andMedium-Sized Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”, initiated bythe President of the Russian Federation and overseen by First Deputy PrimeMinister Andrey Belousov, 56.5 million rubles were allocated in 2023, with themajority of funds coming from the federal budget. Thus, over the current andprevious years, this amount is expected to increase to nearly 85 millionrubles.

Speaking of support measures, it isworth mentioning the work of the “My Business” Center, which provides entrepreneurs in the republic with bothfinancial and non-financial assistance.

Financial support is provided in theform of loans and guarantees. Non-financial support measures include theprovision of a range of information and advisory services:

  • creating a corporate identity;
  • developing advertising content forpromoting services (goods);
  • social media marketing package,production of photo and video content for promoting services (goods);
  • SMM course;
  • creating a single-page website;
  • placement on electronic platforms;
  • bringing and ensuring the presence ofSMEs on electronic trading marketplaces;
  • educational programs;
  • exhibition and fair events;
  • participation in conferences,forums;
  • grants up to 500,000 rubles in theform of subsidies to SMEs included in the registry of social and youngentrepreneurs.

Over the past two years, 48 grantstotaling 22.6 million rubles have been issued. It is worth noting that thenumber of grants issued in 2023 exceeded this figure by almost double.Similarly, the amount of financing has also increased from 7.4 million rublesin 2022 to 15.2 million in 2023. Grant support within the framework of thenational project will continue this year as well.
