MORDOVIA IS A LEADER IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL STABILITY IN RUSSIA
The Republic of Mordovia and Tyumen region share the leading position among the regions with maximum social and political stability in Russia. This is the result of the survey conducted by the Saint-Petersburg Politics Fund in July.
There are several events in the republic’s economy that influenced the assessment. First of all, it is a discussion of Mordovcement PAO development, which took place between the Interim Head of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov and Vice President of EUROCEMENT group Kusma Grigoriadis.
For the last two years almost all production facilities of the enterprise have been renewed or modernized, labor productivity has grown two times, a major plan for potential extraction of raw materials and improvement of its quality has been developed, transport logistics has been made more effective and convenient.
Another significant event is an agreement for development and support of Smart Barley program, which Vladimir Volkov has signed with SUN Inbev Corporation. The program makes it possible to grow barley of high quality by means of new technologies and agro practices.
In July State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Mordovia Lisma supplied equipment for lamps production to the Republic of Burundi within the project of set up of joint Russia-Africa production.
It is also worth noted that according to assessments of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia in 2016 Mordovia goes fifth due to the rates of economic growth.
