MORDOVIA IS AMONG THE LEADING REGIONS IN TERMS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE INVESTMENT DECLARATION IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REGIONAL INVESTMENT STANDARD
According to the results of the evaluation of the efficiency index of the Regional Investment Standard implementation in 2023, Mordovia was among the leading regions in terms of the Investment Declaration implementation. This is reported by the official website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia.
The Investment Declaration is the most important framework document of the region's investment campaign, which sets out the conditions for doing business in the territory, investment policy objectives, a description of the infrastructure available in the region, and priority areas of socio-economic development of the territory. In other words, the Investment Declaration fixes both the conditions for doing business in the region and the medium-term prospects for socio-economic development.
People making investment decisions rarely have a full understanding of the opportunities and potential of different territories where their business could potentially be located. Therefore, investment declarations of regions, as public offers to business, allow investors to draw a conclusion about the state of investment activity in the region, investment commitments made and, accordingly, to assess the investment climate for the subsequent investment of their own funds.
