MORDOVIA IS ONE OF THE LEADING REGIONS IN MILK PRODUCTION
By 1st of December 2018 the production of milk in Russia reached over 14.8 million tons. Based on the data by Russian Statistics (Rosstat) The DairyNews (specialized on the milk market news) notes that the production of milk on that period of time was 3.7 percent bigger than it was on the same period last year.
DairyNews also made a ranking of the leading regions that shows their input into the national progress. Izvestiya Mordovii (The Mordovian News) states that there are 30 regions in that ranking and Mordovia holds the 20th place. Mordovia’s milk production after 11 months in 2018 reached 312 thousand tons. It is 4.4% more than it was on the 1st of December 2017.
