MORDOVIA WILL EXPAND COOPERATION WITH INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES OF BELARUS

On October 17, as part of a working visit to the Republic of Belarus, the Head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov held a number of business meetings with representatives of the country’s industrial sector. Deputy Prime Ministers of the Republic of Mordovia Natalya Tarkaeva, Batyr Emeev and Insaf Khairullin, supervising ministers and representatives of the business community of Mordovia took part in the discussion of issues of bilateral cooperation.

A meeting was held with the management of LLC "Daliompharma" – this enterprise produces various medications, including those from blood plasma. The delegation of the republic got acquainted with the technological production of Belarusian colleagues. The issues of purchasing medicines for the Republic, including drugs from blood plasma, were discussed; there are plans to establish such production in Mordovia.

There was also a meeting with the management of the "Horizont" holding – a manufacturer of household appliances; OJSC "Krasnoselskstroymaterialy", which produces RDF fuel; the Brest Electric Lamp Plant and the "Polymerconstruction" Unitary Enterprise, which specializes in water supply and sanitation technologies.

"We discussed with representatives of the "Horizont" company the possibility of producing plastic housings in Mordovia. This is now relevant for them, and we have already localized such production," Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Emeev said. "At the meeting with representatives of the Brest Electric Lamp Plant – an analogue of our lighting plant "Lisma" – we talked about the development of industrial cooperation; we will jointly decide how to implement this."
