MORDOVIAN STATE UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER N.P. OGAREV IS IN THE RATINGS OF THE BEST UNIVERSITIES IN OUR COUNTRY
The RAEX agency, with the support of the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation, for the second time compiled ratings of the best universities in Russia in the fields of science, mathematics, engineering and technology. Among those noted in the Top-50 in both directions is Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev.
The raitings measure the competitiveness of universities within two groups of specialties. The natural and mathematical field includes such areas as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and fundamental earth sciences. In the engineering and technical field, a wide range of engineering areas is considered (energy, construction, computer science and computer technology, aircraft engineering, robotics, light industry and others).
It is reported that the distribution of places in the ratings was influenced by three factors - the demand for graduates in the labor market, the quality of education and scientific results.
