“MY KIND BUSINESS” IS EXPANDING TO THE INTERREGIONAL LEVEL
In early January, the interregional stage of the All-Russian competition of projects in the field of social entrepreneurship and Socially Oriented Nonprofit Organizations (SONPO) “My Kind Business” kicked off. 900 works are participating, 22 of which represent Mordovia. Participants will compete for a place in the final of the All-Russian competition, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, with the operator being the State University of Management.
For the regional stage, which took place in a remote format, 2000 applications were admitted. They were evaluated by 480 experts in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), leaders and representatives of resource centers for the development of non-profit organizations (NPOs) and volunteering, as well as representatives of the Association of Folk Arts and Crafts of Russia.
To remind, in Mordovia, 36 social entrepreneurs participated in the regional stage of the competition, 22 of them were recognized as winners.
Social projects from Mordovia are participating in the interregional stage of the competition, which started on January 10 and will last until April 1, 2024. The participants are winners from regions in each of the 8 main and 1 special nominations. A total of 878 projects will be evaluated on the competition's online platform, and federal experts in the field of SMEs and NPO development will determine the strongest ones.
The final federal stage will take place from April 1 to May 31, 2024. It's worth noting that the best projects from the previous season were presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2023.
