«OPTIKENERGO» GROUP OF COMPANIES INCREASES PRODUCTION VOLUMES
The «Optikenergo» Group of Companies is expanding production. Two new workshops are being prepared for opening this spring. One of them will launch the first in Russia production of road corrosion-resistant cables, on the basis of which durable and safer road barriers will be made. There are also plans to produce cable for the metro and urban electric transport and products for telecommunications equipment.
«The purpose of this project is to expand the range of traditional products and, of course, the emphasis is on innovative, import-substituting cables. Currently, the main foreign operators have left Russia, and now we can adequately replace them», said Galina Kostareva, First Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales of «EM-CABLE».
A new workshop is also being opened at another plant of the «Optikenergo» Group of Companies. «EM-KAT» will soon launch the production of shaped castings of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. They also aim to produce import-substituting products. The launch of the new production is scheduled for May.
