TALINA SIGNS AN AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION IN IMPLEMENTATION OF INVESTMENT PROJECTS
On September 7, Interim Head of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of meat processing plant Atyashevskiy, President of Talina Group Viktor Biryukov signed an agreement on cooperation in implementation of investment projects. The document provides for cooperation aimed at development of agro-industrial complex of the republic. The investment program includes construction of new production and treatment facilities in Atyashevo and Torbeevo.
Viktor Biryukov told the Interim Head of the Republic about construction of new facilities of the company. Talina continues modernization and expands production capacities within the State program of development of agriculture and regulation of agriculture, raw materials and food markets in the Republic of Mordovia for 2013-2020.
The third stage of construction of the Mordovia breeding center in Kovylkino district is being prepared. In October starts the fourth stage of construction of the breeding center in Insar district. In autumn 2018 these pig-breeding farms for one hundred thousand pigs each will start operating. It will create 160 jobs.
Viktor Biryukov also spoke about the start of reconstruction of production shops and refrigerators in Atyashevo meat processing plant. In Torbeevo meat processing complex the site is being prepared for construction of a butchering room, shop for spices preparation and storage and a refrigerator with the capacity of 5 thousand tons.
In 2018-2020 Talina’s production capacities will be increased up to 225 thousand tons of sausages per year. It will create 400 jobs.
Agriculture is essential for the economy of Mordovia. Its share in gross regional product is 13%, which is 2.5 times higher than in Russia in General. The republic is in top five in Russia and the leader in Volga Federal District due to agricultural output per capita. Set up of new companies within the implementation of investment projects is a significant contribution to the development of agriculture and creation of new well-paid jobs for people.
