TECHNOLOGICAL COMPANIES IN MORDOVIA HAVE RECEIVED OVER HALF A BILLION RUBLES IN FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Small technological companies in the country can receive up to 1 billion rubles through the preferential lending program of the federal project “Takeoff – from startup to IPO”. Launched two years ago, it is part of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship”, initiated by the President of the Russian Federation and supervised by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.

As of now, there are currently two such companies in Mordovia. The total amount of financial support from the government amounted to 512 million rubles.

The preferential lending program for high-tech, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises at 3% per annum has been extended to small technological companies. At the same time, the maximum amount of borrowed funds has been increased to 1 billion rubles. This is the first implemented measure of financial support for this category of businesses. For high-tech small and medium-sized enterprises, the amount remains the same – up to 500 million rubles.

Under the program's terms, participants can access funds at a preferential interest rate of 3% per annum for investment or working capital purposes. Financial support is available to enterprises that use technologies from a list of 14 priority high-tech directions in their production. In particular, companies involved in artificial intelligence, quantum communications, modern and prospective mobile communication networks, the development of hydrogen energy, and others can apply for support.
