THE AGRARIANS OF MORDOVIA SET A NEW RECORD OF 2 MILLION TONS OF GRAIN
In Mordovia, the absolute record of the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops has been broken. The historical mark of 2 million tons has been overcome. Harvesting work has not yet been completed, which allows us to predict an increase in this indicator.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia, good results were also achieved in harvesting other crops. For example, the yield of sugar beets is 436 centners per hectare. In addition, sunflower harvesting is in full swing.
Next year, the livestock industry is also well supplied with feed. For 1 conditional head of cattle in the region, 35.9 centners per feed unit were harvested.
