THE COVID-19 DRUG PRODUCED IN MORDOVIA PROVED ITS EFFECTIVENESS
A locally produced drug for the treatment of coronavirus infection that was launched into production in Saransk has proven its effectiveness. The results of clinical trials conducted in medical institutions of Mordovia, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Leningrad, Smolensk and Ryazan regions have shown that.
We remind that at the end of June, the BIOKHIMIK Saransk plant launched the production of a drug for COVID-19. The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation authorized this drug, created on the basis of a medicine, developed in Japan for the treatment of Ebola. A few days ago foreign media reported that employees of the Fujita Health Institute could not confirm the effectiveness of the Japanese drug after its clinical trials. However, according to experts, the Russian medicine is not a complete analogue of the drug produced in the Land of the Rising Sun.
In the course of large-scale clinical trials, the drug produced in Saransk has demonstrated high efficiency (over 90 percent). After the first day, 70 percent of patients with coronavirus infection felt radical changes in their condition, and it was confirmed by tests made during the following days. Moreover, 80 percent of patients recovered on monotherapy, without concurrent medications. Not a single case of the disease progressing into a more severe phase has been registered.
