THE GOVERNMENT WILL INTRODUCE A 10 YEARS PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF WORLDSKILLS MOVEMENT IN RUSSIA
The Government, along with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), will establish an autonomous non-profit organization called The Agency for the Development of Professional Excellence. The new organization will be developing the WorldSkills movement in Russia. The event plan with the sources of financing for 2021–2030 will be elaborated by June 1. It is stated in the order of the government published on the official Internet page for legal information.
“The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia along with the Ministry of Enlightenment of Russia, the Ministry of Labor of Russia and the Ministry of Finance of Russia, will elaborate an action plan for the development of WorldSkills movement in the Russian Federation, providing the funding sources for events from 2021. And then submit it to the Government of the Russian Federation until June 1, 2020”, - the document says.
The new organization will be: assisting citizens in choosing a profession, forming a new industrial culture in order to increase the labor efficiency, creating social elevators, developing professional and expert communities, exercising research, making forecasts, and providing organizational and methodological support for the introduction of the new promising professional skills, including digital ones.
The Agency for the Development of Professional Excellence will also conduct further training for personnel, focusing as well on engineering and working professions and skills; organize Russian and international competitions in professional skills. It will also represent Russia in WorldSkills International organization and other organizations operating according to WorldSkills standards; train the Russian national team for professional excellence and promote advanced personnel training standards, including the development of an independent competency assessment system in Russia and other countries.
