THE LIVESTOCK SECTOR OF MORDOVIA IS DEVELOPING DUE TO NEW INVESTMENT PROJECTS
In the Volga-Vyatka macroregion, the number of cattle and pigs has increased, and the implementation of investment projects to expand the capacity of livestock enterprises continues. This is stated in the next release of the Bank of Russia report at the link.
According to Rosstat, the number of livestock, including pigs, in Mordovia also grew in annual terms. This was facilitated by the development of feed production in the region.
For example, in August, a plant for the production of granular compound feeds for pigs and turkey was launched, and next year another plant of another republican agricultural holding for the production of compound feeds for pigs will reach its design capacity.
