THE MINISTRY OF CONSTRUCTION OF RUSSIA HAS IDENTIFIED CITIES WITH FAVORABLE URBAN ENVIRONMENTS
The results of the calculation of the Urban Environment Quality Index for the year 2023 have been published. 36 different indicators were evaluated, including housing, public and business infrastructure, social and leisure infrastructure, adjacent spaces, green areas, waterfronts, street infrastructure, and urban public spaces. For the urban environment to be considered favorable, the quality index should exceed 180 points.
In Mordovia, the cities with favorable urban environments in 2023 were: Saransk (204 points), Kovylkino (194 points), Ruzaevka (193 points), Temnikov (193 points), and Krasnoslobodsk (181 points). Moreover, the capital of the region has improved its indicators compared to the previous period.
