The Ministry of Economic Development of Russian Federation has developed the concept of a municipal investment standard based on proposals from regions and businesses. According to this it is necessary to form an advisory body under the head of the local administration, to appoint an authorized person for interaction with business in order to speed up the implementation of local projects. Along with this, it is necessary to establish cooperation with the regional development agency and to develop an investment profile of the municipality.
The proposals of the Ministry of Economic Development were supported by Alexei Repik, Chairman of Delovaya Rossiya, Maria Glukhova, Executive Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce.
