THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS EXPANDED SUPPORT MEASURES FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS
In 2024, efforts towards further development of the domestic agro-industrial complex will continue. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, has signed a resolution expanding the areas of support for Russian agrarians.
For agricultural cooperatives operating in the Siberian Federal District, the reimbursement rate for expenses related to the purchase of machinery and equipment will be increased from 50% to 60%. However, the total amount of such payments should not exceed 10 million rubles.
Additionally, now consumer cooperatives will include consumer societies, where no less than 70% of revenue is generated through procurement, storage, processing, and marketing of agricultural products. This decision will expand the number of enterprises eligible for government support.
