MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION EXCHANGED EXPERIENCE WITH COLLEAGUES FROM THE PENZA REGION
On July 11, a delegation from the Penza region visited the Republic of Mordovia on a business trip. The delegation included representatives from the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Industry, the Development Corporation, the Urban Planning and Architecture Department, and business representatives. The Investment Development Department of the Mordovia Development Corporation organized an extensive program for the guests from the neighboring region. In addition to official meetings, the program included a tour of the Sistema Special Economic Zone – the Svetotekhnika industrial park, a visit to Zavod Svetovyh Priborov LLC, TechnoPark-Mordovia and the Lisma History of Lighting Museum.

Teachers and students of Ogarev Mordovia State University have developed original recipes for natural soft cheese with shambala and boiled-smoked sausage with dried celery. According to the university's press service, these products have a unique taste and aroma and are enriched with dietary fibers, vitamins (such as potassium, magnesium, sodium and iron).
APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE MOM-ENTREPRENEUR PROJECT IN MORDOVIA

MORDOVIA IS INCREASING ITS FOREIGN TRADE TURNOVER
As a result of the first quarter of 2024, the foreign trade turnover of the republic increased by more than 80%, reaching 124.7 million USD. Exports increased by 32.6% to 53.6 million USD. Imports also grew compared to the same period last year, rising 2.5 times to 71.1 million USD. According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, the trading partners of the republic's enterprises included representatives from 42 countries worldwide (27 countries for exports and 32 countries for imports). The largest export partners were Kazakhstan, Belarus, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, China and Uzbekistan. The major import partners were China, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.
