THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE OF MORDOVIA WAS DISCUSSED IN THE HOUSE OF THE REPUBLIC
On May 14, the Head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, held a meeting on the development of the special economic zone of the region. It was attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Natalya Tarkaeva and Batyr Emeev, Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia Igor Gubaidullin, Acting Minister of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia Ivan Gorin, the management of LLC Management Company of SEZ “Mordovia” and the managing partner of PJSC JSFC “Sistema” Sergey Akhmetshin.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, together with the “My Business” Center, continues to provide support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Mordovia by offering regional entrepreneurs the services of the “Electronic Reporting” service. The free option is provided as part of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”, initiated by the President of Russia.
The development of an effective and competitive economy will be discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
On May 8th, the Day of National Priorities "Effective and Competitive Economy" will be held at the International Exhibition-Forum Russia. The event is dedicated to the prospects for the development of various sectors of the economy, key aspects of interaction between business and government. The key event of the day of national priorities will be the plenary session "Efficient and Competitive Economy" (Pavilion No. 75, conference hall, beginning at 10.00). First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov, Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the City of Moscow Maria Bagreeva, Chairman of Promsvyazbank PJSC Peter Fradkov, CEO of JSC SME Corporation Alexander Isaevich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group Sergey Shishkarev, representatives of regions and industry communities will speak at the event. YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS IN MORDOVIA WILL BE TAUGHT HOW TO EFFECTIVELY RUN THEIR BUSINESSES
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, together with the “My Business” Center, continues to provide support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region. From May 16 to May 24, an educational program will be held for young entrepreneurs of the region. This program is implemented as part of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”, initiated by the President of Russia and supervised by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Andrey Belousov.
THE ANNUAL INTERREGIONAL LAND FORUM “MASTOR” WILL TAKE PLACE IN SARANSK
On May 27th and 28th, 2024, with the participation of Rosimushchestvo, the Annual Interregional Land Forum “Mastor” will take place in the Republic of Mordovia. The event is aimed at facilitating dialogue and exchanging experiences in land and property relations between federal and regional authorities to increase the efficiency of land and property management in the Russian Federation. It serves as a non-commercial platform for professional communication among specialists and experts in the land and property complex.

Mordovia Development Corporation continues its efforts to populate the registry of platforms available to investors for implementing investment projects. This series of publications will be launched by an investment platform located in the industrial zone of Saransk – near Proletarskaya Street (one of the central thoroughfares of the capital of Mordovia).
THE SELF-ASSESSMENT SERVICE FOR LAND PLOTS HAS BEEN LAUNCHED
The Rosreestr website has launched a service through which land plot owners and land users can undergo self-assessment and independently evaluate compliance with mandatory requirements for land plot use. As reported by the agency's press service, the service can be accessed both through a personal account and without authorization.
On April 22 in Moscow, a meeting took place between the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Vasily Osmakov. The implementation of important projects in the industrial sector in the republic and further development of the region's industry were discussed. The discussion revolved around the implementation of the “2nd Launch Complex” project as part of the establishment of a full-cycle optical fiber production. Construction of the second launch complex of the optical fiber production plant in Saransk, aimed at producing its own blanks (preforms) for fiber drawing, is scheduled for 2024-2026. The facility's design is currently being conducted according to schedule.
The Russian government continues to support businesses through measures aimed at the economic development of the country. A decision has been made to extend the validity of the rules for providing state guarantees for loans and bonds until the end of 2024, which organizations attract to support production and investment. The decision will increase the attractiveness of investments in various sectors of the economy and will enable businesses to address a number of important tasks, including modernizing production facilities.
ENTREPRENEURS IN MORDOVIA WILL BE TAUGHT HOW TO BUILD A BUSINESS IN A GAMIFIED FORMAT
The Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, together with the “My Business” Center, continues to support entrepreneurs in Mordovia by organizing the business game “Financial Instruments”. The event on the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”, initiated by the President of Russia and overseen by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, is aimed at developing strategic thinking, which will help to establish and develop customer-oriented businesses.
From April 9th to 13th, the Creative Business Residency took place in Ulyanovsk, serving as an educational and communication platform that brought together creative entrepreneurs and authoritative experts in the field of creative industries. Fatima Gatieva, an advisor to the Director General of the Mordovia Development Corporation, participated in the event.
A NEW RESIDENT HAS JOINED THE PDA “RUZAEVKA”
The register of residents of the territory of advanced development PDA “Ruzaevka” has been supplemented with a new resident. The company “Dobryi khozyain – Ruzaevka” has been granted preferential business status. The company is implementing an investment project to establish a new high-tech production of wet pet food with a capacity of 36 thousand tons per year. The total project cost exceeds 3.6 billion rubles. The new production facility will employ 182 workers.
