THE VOLUME OF EXPORT OF GOODS PRODUCED IN MORDOVIA HAS GROWN BY 38%
As a result of 2017, the volume of export in the industry of Mordovia grew by 38%. It became 215 million USD. For the last three years this indicator has increased 2.5 times from four to ten billion rubles.
Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov noted that the significant growth of export was a result of modernization and innovative development of Mordovia economy. Just in 2017 there were implemented about fifteen projects resulted in establishment or renovation of industrial enterprises.
The only factory for optic fiber production in Russia, Optic Fiber Systems, located in Saransk, reached its performance indicators. Almost all optic fiber produced in Mordovia is exported to China, Austria, Great Britain, Czech Republic and Poland.
Saransk plant Biokhimik established the National research and production center for pharmaceutical production development. The first in Russia full-cycle production of modern antibiotics was launched there.
The whole range of new products for power electronic and power generation is supplied to such companies as Gazprom, Energia, Agat, Roselectronika and others. In 2017 the companies of Mordovia supplied the leading Russian corporations with goods for three billion rubles.
By the end of 2017 the regional gross product of Mordovia increased by 4.6%, investment – by over 9%. Industrial production index reached 110%.
