TWO CITIES OF MORDOVIA WON THE COMPETITION FOR COMFORTABLE URBAN ENVIRONMENT PROJECTS
Two cities of Mordovia won the VIII All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. The victory was won by applications prepared with the participation of the Mordovia Development Corporation, the cities of Insar and Temnikov.
In Temnikov, Lenin Street will be landscaped: from the park named after the Hero of the Soviet Union S.V. Astrakhantsev to R. Luxembourg street. It should become a point of attraction for guests and citizens.
In Insar, the central square along Gagarin Street will acquire a new look. The general idea of the project is to reflect the history of the city and preserve cultural heritage sites. The concept is designed to create an attractive space that will become a place for meetings, walks and games.
72.3 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for each project. They are scheduled to be completed in 2024.
The results of the competition were summed up at the All-Russian Forum «Development of small towns and historical settlements» in Vladivostok. A total of 145 applications became winners.
