BUSINESS IN MORDOVIA RECEIVES SUPPORT ON THE DIGITAL PLATFORM

A new service “Sales on Marketplaces and in Social Networks” has been launched on the digital platform for small and medium-sized businesses. It assists entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals engaged in online commerce and service provision. The service is designed for both experienced professionals and those who are just starting their business activities.

PRODUCERS FROM MORDOVIA CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE NATIONAL ORGANIC COMPETITION

Organic producers from Mordovia can take part in the third All-Russian competition for the award for achievements in the development of Russian organic products. The jury will determine leaders in the production and support of organic products among regions, recognize the best new products, projects promoting this direction, and other successful cases. In total, there are 15 categories.

On January 18, an award ceremony was held at the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Mordovia. The solemn event was dedicated to the foundation of the state property management system. For assistance in organizing and providing information support for the interregional land forum “Mastor-2023”, the Ministry's gratitude was announced to the employees of the Mordovia Development Corporation.

A TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING CELLULOSE ETHER HAS BEEN DEVELOPED IN MORDOVIA

Scientists of Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev developed a technology for producing hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), a cellulose ether that is used in industry, construction and oil production. This is reported by the press service of the Mordovian State University. At the moment, only a few foreign companies produce HPMC, and there is no production of this ether in Russia. Therefore, the production technology developed by Mordovian scientists will solve the problem of import substitution.

THE REGIONAL ENGINEERING CENTER PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE BUSINESS OF MORDOVIA

In 2023, 35 SMEs used the services of the regional engineering center AI “Technopark-Mordovia”. It is worth noting that comprehensive services were provided under the national project “Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”.

THE ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE FORUM “STRONG IDEAS FOR A NEW TIME” CONTINUES

Applications are being accepted for the fourth forum "Strong Ideas for the New Era," organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Roscongress Foundation, with the co-organizer being VEB.RF. This time, initiatives are welcomed in seven directions: “Quality of Life for the Population”, “Living Space”, “Efficient Labor and Education”, “Economic and Entrepreneurial Development”, “Technological Advancement”, “Data Economy and Digital Solutions”, and “Efficient Government”.

THE CONGRESS OF FARMERS OF MORDOVIA WAS HELD IN SARANSK

On January 12, the first Congress of Farmers of the Republic of Mordovia was held on the basis of the Agrarian Institute of the Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev. The participants of this important event were welcomed by the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov. The Head of the republic noted the importance of livestock farming. Since 2018, the number of cattle in the republic's farms has decreased by almost 2 thousand heads annually. Last year, such a sharp decline was stopped. The Ministry of Agriculture, together with the university, will have to figure this out and propose ways to solve the problem.

“MY KIND BUSINESS” IS EXPANDING TO THE INTERREGIONAL LEVEL

In early January, the interregional stage of the All-Russian competition of projects in the field of social entrepreneurship and Socially Oriented Nonprofit Organizations (SONPO) “My Kind Business” kicked off. 900 works are participating, 22 of which represent Mordovia. Participants will compete for a place in the final of the All-Russian competition, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, with the operator being the State University of Management.

THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS EXPANDED SUPPORT MEASURES FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS

In 2024, efforts towards further development of the domestic agro-industrial complex will continue. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, has signed a resolution expanding the areas of support for Russian agrarians. For agricultural cooperatives operating in the Siberian Federal District, the reimbursement rate for expenses related to the purchase of machinery and equipment will be increased from 50% to 60%. However, the total amount of such payments should not exceed 10 million rubles.

THE NATIONAL PROJECT HELPED MORDOVIA BECOME A LEADER IN THE COUNTRY IN TERMS OF THE GROWTH OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES

The growth rate of the number of small and medium-sized enterprises in Mordovia exceeds the overall Russian indicators by more than two times. This became known following the December update, the last one this year, of the Unified Register of SMEs, which includes 6.3 million entities. It is worth noting that the number of registered SMEs is one of the key indicators of the national project “Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”.
