A BUSINESS TOURISM OFFICE WILL BE OPENED IN MORDOVIA
Representatives of the Russian tour operator TT-Travel, known in the market under the Fun&Sun brand, visited Mordovia to assess the possibility of moving its operational office for corporate and MICE-tourism here. This is reported by the official website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia. The result of the working visit was an agreement to open an office of the federal travel company with a staff of 10-12 people in Saransk by the end of the year and to organize corporate events of TT-Travel's clients in the region. This will work not only for the loading of hotels, but also for business activity in the republic.
NEW GREENHOUSES WITH A CAPACITY OF 9 THOUSAND TONS OF VEGETABLES PER YEAR WERE OPENED IN MORDOVIA
New production facilities were commissioned at JSC Teplichnoye, a member of the ROST Group of Companies. They will provide an additional 25% to the production volume of the agro-industrial complex and create more than 120 new jobs. According to the press service of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, the investment project of Teplichnoye is the third in the agro-industrial complex of the republic, which has been launched in the last three months.
RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytics) has published the results of the ninth annual research devoted to the enrollment of applicants in the best Russian universities. The result of the work was the publication of a series of ratings of Russian schools: the best schools in terms of the competitiveness of graduates (top-100), the best schools in terms of the competitiveness of graduates in major fields of training (top-50), as well as lists of schools in terms of the absolute number of graduates enrolled in the best universities in Russia.
MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TOOK PART IN THE INVESTMENT CAMP OF THE NAAIR PRESS CLUB
From August 23 to 25, the first offsite Investment Camp of the NAAIR Press Club was held in the Chelyabinsk region. Mordovia Development Corporation became one of the 25 regions that took part in this event. Successful practices of PR-promotion of the investment potential of the regions were presented to the students of the educational program. Employees of the Center for Support of Social Projects and Tourism Programs of the Mordovia Development Corporation, together with the Administration of the Ardatovsky Municipal District, held a roundtable discussion on the topic “Tourism development in the Ardatovsky Municipal District”. More than 45 people took part in the event, including the head of the district Alexander Antipov, as well as the owners of local industrial and tourist enterprises, artisans, farmers, souvenir producers, heads of cultural facilities and representatives of catering and accommodation enterprises.
ONE MILLION TONS OF GRAIN WAS HARVESTED IN MORDOVIA FROM HALF OF THE HARVESTED AREAS
During the harvesting campaign of the current season, the agrarians of Mordovia overcame the mark of 1 million tons of gross grain harvest. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia, 50% of the areas under grain crops have been harvested. The average yield this year was 41.3 quintals in bunker weight.
The Verstakoff company plans to expand production in Mordovia with a total investment of about 900 million rubles. The investment project involves the creation of the production of innovative products in the field of metal products and metal furniture with a design capacity of more than 1 billion rubles a year.

On August 18, employees of the Center for Support of Social Projects and Tourism Programs of the Mordovia Development Corporation took part in the panel session “Ethno-tourism code of the territory: in search of new growth points for domestic and inbound tourism in Russia.” At this event, the main directions for the development of the tourism sector of the republic were determined.
MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION VISITED ATYASHEVSKY DISTRICT
On August 16, employees of the Center for Support of Social Projects and Tourism Programs of the Mordovia Development Corporation held a working meeting with Konstantin Nikolaev, the Head of the Atyashevsky municipal district. During the meeting, issues related to the development of the tourism sector of the district were discussed. In addition, information was received about the already existing tourist potential.
Employees of the Mordovia Development Corporation have been trained in the administration of the upgraded Investment Card of the Republic of Mordovia. Particular attention was paid to its functioning, as well as the use of user interfaces. The learning process was carried out with the help of videoconferencing.
A regular meeting of the Commission on Investment Competitions was held under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia. Andrey Lobanov, Head of the Center for Design Solutions of the Mordovia Development Corporation, took part in it.
