STATE-OWNED COMPANIES HAVE INCREASED PROCUREMENT FROM SMALL BUSINESSES IN MORDOVIA BY ALMOST A THIRD
The nationwide volume of procurement by the largest customers from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) reached a record high of 8 trillion rubles by the end of 2023. Thanks to the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative,” initiated by the President and supervised by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, this indicator has significantly increased in our region as well. In comparison with 2022, the growth in Mordovia amounted to 32%, reaching nearly 12.5 billion rubles. It is worth noting that we exceed the nationwide indicator (13.5%) by more than twice in this regard, and the number of SME suppliers has already exceeded 740.
Rosstandart has announced the registration of a preliminary national standard for the procurement of bog oak (referred to as subfossil wood in the document). This is the world's first document on standardization establishing requirements for such wood. The uniqueness of the “black diamond” was one of the reasons for creating a separate document.
DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA BATYR EMEEV ANSWERED QUESTIONS FROM CITIZENS
On February 21, in the “Republic of Mordovia” public group on VKontakte, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Mordovia, Batyr Emeev, answered questions from citizens. He noted that last year nearly 30 investment projects aimed at modernization and production of high-tech products were implemented in the republic. About 600 jobs were created as a result. This year, approximately 15 investment projects in various sectors are at the implementation stage, with investments totaling around 10 billion rubles.
On February 20, a representative of the Mordovia Development Corporation, Sergey Kochevatov, took part in a panel session to review the proposed design solutions within the framework of the Temnikovsky district master plan, with the participation of the project team of the DOM.RF Foundation.

At the meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the creation of special economic zones (SEZs) and territories of advanced socio-economic development in single-industry towns, held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev, the creation of two new industrial-type SEZs was supported: “Emmauss” in the Tver region and “Sistema” in the Republic of Mordovia.

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has summed up the results of the regional business support infrastructure for the year 2023. More than 550,000 people across the country benefited from financial, educational, consulting, and other support provided by the “My Business” Centers. These activities are implemented within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship”, initiated by the President of Russia. The national project is overseen by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Andrey Belousov.

On February 7, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to award organizations recognized as the best in the field of quality and efficiency of business processes. Experts assessed the activities of organizations based on 9 criteria. 12 organizations became laureates of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality in 2023. Among them is “VKM-Stal”.

On February 9, the production of dry pet food was launched in Mordovia at the new production site of the Talina Group of Companies. The symbolic launch of the plant took place at the Republic of Mordovia's stand during the “Russia” exhibition-forum on Agriculture Day. The opening ceremony of the production was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Dmitry Patrushev, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and the founder of the Talina Group, Viktor Biryukov. Employees of the “Dobry Hozyain” enterprise, part of the processing holding, joined the ceremony via video conference from the Atyashevsky district of Mordovia.

It's worth noting that the platform was created as part of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”, initiated by the President and overseen by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Andrey Belousov. It encompasses over a thousand regional support measures and more than 30 services nationwide.
