IGOR KOMAROV AND ARTYOM ZDUNOV DISCUSSED THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF MORDOVIA

On November 21, a working meeting between the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov, and the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, took place at the House of the Republic. The Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Moldova, Anatoly Gulin, took part in the meeting. Issues of socio-economic development of the republic and maintaining socio-political stability in the region were discussed.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS EXPANDED THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PRIORITY SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA "RUZAEVKA"

The borders of the Priority Social and Economic Development Area (PSEDA) “Ruzaevka” have been expanded, which will allow the implementation of new investment projects. PSEDA has been increased from 3,200 hectares to 4,500 hectares. The area of the new investment sites is 500 hectares. The inclusion of new areas in the PSEDA will create conditions for the implementation of investment projects, will attract investors to the republic and will have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the urban settlement of Ruzaevka and the Ruzaevsky municipal district.

MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TOOK PART IN THE EVENTS OF THE CYCLE "MY HOSPITALITY BUSINESS"

A four-day series of events “My Hospitality Business” has been launched in the capital of Mordovia. As part of seminars, training programs and master classes, representatives of the restaurant business and tourism industry will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and exchange experiences with colleagues. All this together is aimed at improving the quality of services provided.

THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS EXPANDED THE LIST OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES FOR CONCLUDING SPECIAL INVESTMENT CONTRACTS

The list of modern technologies, during the development or implementation of which companies can enter into special investment contracts with the state (SPIC 2.0), has been replenished with another 69 items. The order was signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. According to the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation, the updated list includes technologies that can be used in medicine and pharmaceuticals, the chemical and radio-electronic industries, as well as in power engineering and metallurgy.

MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TOOK PART IN A MEETING OF THE PROJECT OFFICE

Mordovia Development Corporation took part in a meeting of the project office for the development of youth tourism in the region. The head of the Center for Support of Social Projects and Tourism Programs, Sergey Kochevatov, took part in the round-table discussion. During the meeting, questions were raised regarding the development of the “Youth Tourism” section of the Tourism Development Strategy in the Republic of Mordovia. At the same time, the creation of a direction of tourist volunteers and the implementation of the “More than a Travel” program, as well as the “Development of Pedestrian Routes” project were discussed.

RESIDENTS OF MORDOVIA CAN TAKE A SURVEY ON THE SAFETY OF FINANCIAL SERVICES

The Bank of Russia invites citizens and business representatives of the republic to take part in a survey on the security of financial services. The survey will reveal the level of satisfaction with the security of banking services and services, as well as find out what types of cyber fraud people encounter and how aware they are of the rules of safe financial behavior. In 2023, the survey is conducted until November 30 inclusive.

MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PAID A WORKING VISIT TO TEMNIKOV

Employees of the Mordovia Development Corporation Sergey Kochevatov and Tatyana Afonina paid a working visit to Temnikov. Cultural heritage sites located along Kommunisticheskaya Street and being points of tourist attraction were examined. At the same time, a meeting was held with the Deputy Head of the Temnikovsky municipal district, Irina Shachanina. Issues related to public-private partnerships for these facilities were discussed.

MORDOVIA STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIPS WITH CHINA

On November 8, the Head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov took part in a meeting of the Council for Interregional Cooperation in the Volga-Yangtze format. The meeting took place in Nanchang (People's Republic of China). The delegation of the Volga Federal District was headed by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov.

THE LIVESTOCK SECTOR OF MORDOVIA IS DEVELOPING DUE TO NEW INVESTMENT PROJECTS

In the Volga-Vyatka macroregion, the number of cattle and pigs has increased, and the implementation of investment projects to expand the capacity of livestock enterprises continues. This is stated in the next release of the Bank of Russia report. According to Rosstat, the number of livestock, including pigs, in Mordovia also grew in annual terms. This was facilitated by the development of feed production in the region.

INNOVATIVE PROJECTS FROM MORDOVIA PASSED THE ACCELERATOR “SKOLKOVO STARTUP SCHOOL”

The 11th season of the acceleration program “Skolkovo Startup School” (an event for technopreneurs) has ended. The mentoring sessions were held from October 2 to November 2 with the assistance of the regional Center “My Business” and AI “Technopark-Mordovia” within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship”. 10 startups from the Republic of Mordovia had the opportunity to “pump up” their projects and take them to a new level by presenting their achievements and successes during the accelerator.

MORDOVIA DAY WILL BE HELD AT THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “RUSSIA” AT VDNKH

On November 4, the International Exhibition-Forum “Russia” will open in Moscow on the territory of the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh). All regions of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities, corporations, representatives of foreign countries and public organizations will present their expositions.

THERE ARE PLANS TO DEVELOP A COMPOSITE MATERIALS CENTER IN MORDOVIA

The Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, met with the leadership of the Composite Division of the Rosatom State Corporation to discuss a number of joint projects. This is reported by the official portal e-mordovia.ru. At the meeting, they discussed close cooperation on the development of the Composite Materials Center in Mordovia. The possibility of creating on this basis the largest production in Russia of the final innovative product based on pultrusion technologies is being considered.
