MORDOVIA HAS ENTERED THE TOP-20 MOST EFFICIENT INDUSTRIAL REGIONS OF RUSSIA
At the International Industrial Exhibition «INNOPROM-2023», the regions of Russia with the most effective industrial policy in 2022 were named. The Republic of Mordovia took the 18th place in the rating, having improved its positions by 10 points in comparison with the previous year.
ICHALKOVSKY CHEESE-MAKING PLANT WON AWARDS AT THE COMPETITION OF ENTERPRISES OF RUSSIA AND BELARUS
A competition of cheese-making plants was held at the international dairy week in the city of Uglich, Yaroslavl region. 38 enterprises from Russia and Belarus took part in it. Mordovia was represented by the Ichalkovsky cheese-making plant, which won 6 awards at once. The Grand Prix was given to Maasdam cheese and processed cheese with mustard. Gold medals went to «Calvet» and processed cheese «Friss». Silver went to «Farmer's» cheese and butter.
VEB.RF WILL ISSUE A LOAN TO THE «RUZOVO» ENTERPRISE
The «Ruzovo» company from Ruzaevka will receive a loan in the amount of 165 million rubles at 1% per annum to organize the production of chicken egg processing products. As a result of the project implementation, 210 million rubles of investments will be attracted to the economy of the single-industry town, 15 jobs will be created. This is reported by the official website of VEB.RF.
INTERREGIONAL LAND FORUM «MASTOR-2023» WILL BE HELD IN MORDOVIA
On July 13 and 14, the first interregional land forum "Mastor-2023" will be held in Mordovia. The participants of the large-scale event will be representatives of about 25 subjects of the Russian Federation. The opening will take place in the congress hall of the Radisson Hotel & Congress Center Saransk (July 13 at 10:00).
Representatives of the Mordovia Development Corporation took part in the federal forum «Managerial Skills: Development of Regional Teams» at the site of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management – a branch of the RANEPA. This event was organized for the investment teams of the Volga Federal District regions.
MORDOVIA WILL TAKE PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION-FORUM «RUSSIA»
The Republic of Mordovia will take part in the International Exhibition-Forum «Russia» in Moscow. The event will be held at VDNKh from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. The republic's stand will reflect the ethno-cultural diversity of Mordovia, achievements in science, industry and the social sphere.
The Ministry of Economic Development of Russian Federation has developed the concept of a municipal investment standard based on proposals from regions and businesses. According to this it is necessary to form an advisory body under the head of the local administration, to appoint an authorized person for interaction with business in order to speed up the implementation of local projects. Along with this, it is necessary to establish cooperation with the regional development agency and to develop an investment profile of the municipality.
MORDOVIAN SCIENTISTS HAVE DEVELOPED A MIXTURE FOR A FLAMELESS FOOD HEATER

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ADOPTED THE EXPERIENCE OF THE MOSCOW REGION
Representatives of the Mordovia Development Corporation took part in a two-day internship for regional investment agencies and development corporations responsible for implementing a system to support new investment projects. The event was held in the Moscow region. During the internship organized by the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR), the participants were presented with the experience of the Moscow Region in the formation of a support system for new investment projects. Along with this, successful Russian and international practices of investment development agencies were analyzed.
The area of PSEDA Ruzaevka will be increased
The Ministry of Economic Development of Russian Federation approved the application of the Republic of Mordovia to expand the border of the PSEDA "Ruzaevka". The Head of the region Artyom Zdunov announced this on his social media accounts. The expansion of the PSEDA "Ruzaevka" area will provide conditions for the implementation of new investment projects, which will double the volume of investments. The plans include the implementation of three projects: expanding the production of ceramic bricks; construction of a plant for primary and industrial processing of meat products; starting up an aqua farm with fish production up to 120 tons per year.
PROJECTS FROM MORDOVIA WON ABOUT 33 MILLION RUBLES IN THE PRESIDENTIAL GRANTS FUND COMPETITION
The winners of the second competition for the provision of presidential grants for the development of civil society in 2023 have been determined. Projects from Mordovia have won almost 33 million rubles. The winners were 19 social and cultural initiatives of public organizations in the region. They are designed to help people with disabilities, families in difficult life situations, create communities, develop national culture.
OGAREV MORDOVIA STATE UNIVERSITY BECAME ONE OF THE BEST UNIVERSITIES IN RUSSIA
Ogarev Mordovia State University has become one of the best universities in our country. This became known after the international information group "Interfax" presented the annual National ranking of universities for 2023. A total of 368 Russian universities participated in the study. According to the consolidated indicators, Ogarev Mordovia State University improved its performance and took 37th place (last year the university was in 39th place).
