MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TOOK PART IN A VIDEO CONFERENCE ON THE TOPIC OF ATTRACTING FOREIGN WORKERS

Fatima Gatieva, Advisor to the General Director of the Mordovia Development Corporation, took part in a meeting on the issues of attracting foreign workers from countries with visa entry regimes into the Russian Federation. The video conference was initiated by the Ivanovo Region Committee on Labor, Promotion of Employment and Labor Migration, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation.

THE PRODUCTION OF POWER CABLES WITH CROSS-LINKED POLYETHYLENE INSULATION FOR 10-110 KV HAS BEEN LAUNCHED IN MORDOVIA

The “EM-Kabel” company has successfully completed the implementation of the investment project “Organization of production of power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation for voltages of 10-110 kV”. The project started in May 2016 and was included in the list of priority investment projects of the Republic of Mordovia in August of the same year. This is reported by the official website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia.

SARANSK HAS BECOME THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE RUSSIAN SMARTPHONE

A presentation of the Russian smartphone R-FON, running on the domestic operating system “ROSA Mobile”, took place in Moscow. The device is scheduled to enter the market in 2024, but at the start of sales it will be available only to corporate clients. Artyom Zdunov, the Head of Mordovia, announced on his official social media pages that Saransk is the birthplace of the Russian smartphone.

REGISTRATION FOR THE “MASTERS OF HOSPITALITY” COMPETITION CONTINUES

Registration of participants in the fourth season of the Masters of Hospitality competition is in full swing. The best will be identified in two areas – managers of the hospitality industry and breakthrough ideas in tourism. Applications are accepted until December 25. The competition consists of distance and face-to-face stages for each direction. Participants will have to undergo remote testing and complete the necessary tasks.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION BETWEEN MORDOVIA AND KAZAKHSTAN WAS DISCUSSED AT THE HOUSE OF THE REPUBLIC

On December 15, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, met with the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan, Erlan Iskakov. Issues of developing comprehensive cooperation were discussed. Erlan Iskakov emphasized that Russia is a strategic partner for Kazakhstan: “I consider it important to increase our cooperation with Mordovia in the industrial and agricultural spheres, cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as to develop the transport and logistics sector.”

ANOTHER REGIONAL BRAND WILL APPEAR IN MORDOVIA

The share of domestic brands in the Russian market has increased by a third over the past year. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin spoke about this during the direct line. The Head of the country also emphasized that such a useful process cannot be stopped, and it must be systemic. To do this, it is necessary to involve not only federal, but also regional structures.

THE RESULTS OF THE FEDERAL STAGE OF THE “MOM-ENTREPRENEUR” PROGRAM HAVE BEEN SUMMED UP

At the “Russia” exhibition, based on the results of project defense, the winners of the federal final of the “Mom-Entrepreneur” Program were determined. The main prize - 1 million rubles - was won by Olga Volkonskaya from the Pskov region with a tourist rural ethno-project. 33 finalists from 28 regions presented their business ideas to the jury. Entrepreneur Elena Alekseeva from Mordovia was among the finalists. The winner of the regional stage presented a business project to open preparatory courses in architecture and design for students wishing to enter a university. Our participant at the final was supported by the Director of the Regional Center “My Business”, Elena Kalachina.

ARTYOM ZDUNOV HELD A WORKING MEETING ON DEVELOPING COOPERATION WITH BELARUS AND CHINA

On December 8, at the House of the Republic, a discussion was held on the development of cooperation between Mordovia and the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China based on the results of past business missions. The Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, held a working meeting with deputy prime ministers and supervising ministers. Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia Anton Ilyushkin emphasized that in the agricultural sector the main areas of interaction are the import of seeds and the export of grain. In addition, it is planned to create a guarantee warehouse of spare parts for Belarusian-made agricultural machinery on the territory of the Republic.

THE VOLUME OF BUSINESS FINANCING IN MORDOVIA CONTINUES TO GROW

Thanks to the national project “Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”, by the end of 2023 there is a continued growth in financial support for regional businesses. Since the beginning of this year, state microfinance organizations have issued 311 microloans in the amount of over 657 million rubles, which is almost 31 million rubles more than the same period last year.

MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ADOPTS THE EXPERIENCE OF THE KALININGRAD REGION

Fatima Gatieva, Advisor to Director General of the Mordovia Development Corporation is taking part in a two-day internship for regional investment agencies and development corporations responsible for implementing a support system for new investment projects. The event is taking place in the Kaliningrad region. During the internship, organized by the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR), recommendations for the creation and operation of the Russian Investment Promotion Toolkit, as well as innovations in the ranking and evaluation of portals and investment cards will be presented to the participants.

AIRR INVITES TO TAKE PART IN THE DISCUSSION OF PPP PROJECTS IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION, SPORTS AND ECOLOGY

The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) will hold a videoconference meeting on the topic: “PPP projects in the field of education, sports, and ecology”. MORDOVIAN SCIENTISTS HAVE DEVELOPED AN INEXPENSIVE RADIO-ABSORBING MATERIAL

Scientists of Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev have developed a self-adhesive radio-absorbing material. It consists of two components: a non-drying sealant and an absorbent filler. This material can be used in the temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C. According to the press service of Mordovian State University, electromagnetic radiation is one of the types of energy pollution of the environment. The use of protective materials can reduce it to an acceptable level. Domestic and foreign scientists have been studying this problem for more than 20 years. Many types of materials have been created. They are all basically reflective. The development of Mordovian scientists is an absorbing material.
