45 MILLION FLOWERS WERE GROWN IN MORDOVIA IN A YEAR
45 million flowers were grown in greenhouses in Mordovia in 2021. According to Mordoviastat, more than 99% are roses. They are supplied to 40 regions of Russia and Belarus.
In 2021, 45 million flowers were collected in the greenhouse complexes of the region. A year earlier, Mordovia produced 43% of flowers grown in the Volga Federal District and 15% of all flowers grown by agricultural organizations in the country.
