The third issue of the quarterly information and analytical digest Public-private partnership (PPP) in Russia has been released. The new issue examines mechanisms for reducing the cost of PPP and concession projects.
The digest discusses the latest initiatives concerning concession agreements and PPP agreements in the healthcare sector, as well as the involvement of cultural heritage sites in concession projects. Particular attention is paid to concluding concession agreements for housing and communal services facilities with bona fide concessionaires without competitive procedures.
In addition, the issue contains information on measures to support PPP and concession projects, a systematic approach to modernizing PPP management, and the possibility of implementing PPP projects in the context of the modern economy.
Let us recall that this review was prepared by the Association of Infrastructure Investors and Creditors (AIIC) jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia in order to inform participants in the infrastructure investment market and other interested parties about the current state and development dynamics of the Russian public-private partnership market.
