A showcase of brands for the promotion of folk crafts was launched in Mordovia
Mordovia Development Corporation has presented a new project — "Showcase of brands of the Republic of Mordovia", posted on the Investment Portal of the region. The aim of the initiative is to unite the key folk crafts of the republic in order to promote them both in the digital space and offline. The main principle of the project is not competition, but cooperation and mutual support of local producers.
The first participant in the showcase was the Urusov Valenki Museum, which hosted the project materials on its site. According to Andrey Tatarkin, a consultant at the Investment development department of the Corporation, museum visitors can now scan a QR code and go to an online platform where information about the region's iconic brands is collected. Recently, the initiative was supported in the Tengushevsky district.
"The virtual showcase allows you to get acquainted with such unique crafts as Urusovskie Valenki, Mordovian stained oak and Tengushevskaya Semitsvetka. Each brand is represented by a separate page with a detailed description, a photo gallery, contacts and video stories of people who have invested a part of themselves in the development of these crafts," explained Andrey Tatarkin.
Meanwhile, the project continues to evolve: new brands will soon be added to the showcase, which will allow residents and guests of Mordovia to discover the cultural and artisanal wealth of the republic.
The project will also be of interest to potential investors who consider folk crafts as a promising area for cooperation.
