A strategy for the development of gastronomic tourism until 2030 was discussed in Mordovia


A strategic session dedicated to the development of gastronomic tourism in the region was held in Mordovia. Fatima Gatieva, Deputy Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Mordovia, took part in the discussion.

The participants discussed in detail the potential of traditional Mordovian cuisine as a cultural code and a tourist asset. Special attention was paid to the role of gastronomic routes, the creation and promotion of event formats, as well as the contribution of entrepreneurs in the field of national catering.

The development of gastrotourism in Mordovia is carried out within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality". The first practical results are already visible: food outlets representing the national cuisine have opened in Saransk.
