ALGORITHMS FOR CONNECTING BUSINESSES TO INFRASTRUCTURE WILL BE IMPROVED IN THE REGIONS
Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation instructed to improve the algorithms for connecting businesses to the infrastructure. Such an instruction was given during a meeting held by Belousov with the regions to reduce the time for connecting businesses to the infrastructure. This is reported by the official website of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
«The analysis revealed obstacles and excessive requirements for investors. To remove them, it is necessary to work out the issue of adjusting federal legislation, improve the algorithms for connecting businesses to networks. Given the local specifics, the set of investment rules needs to be updated in the regions to improve the convenience of doing business», Belousov said.
In turn, Murat Kerefov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development during the meeting said that now close horizontal communication is being built between regional administrations and resource-supplying organizations to reduce the time for connecting businesses to networks. Thus, in each regional division of «Gazprom» and «Rosseti», persons responsible at the level of deputy heads of general directors for interaction with investment development agencies have been identified.
«The practice of concluding agreements on interaction between regions and resource-supplying organizations is being formed. They define the information exchanged by the parties for the convenience of the investor. This is information about the location of infrastructure, network capacity, connection time, cost reduction opportunities and prospects for implementing projects at specific sites», Kerefov said.
It is also reported that the regions are reducing the time for connecting investors to communications within the framework of the joint project of the Ministry of Economic Development and «Rosatom» «Through Investment Flow».
