Almost 113 million rubles will be allocated for the development of tourism infrastructure in Mordovia in 2026
As part of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”, large‑scale work to create new tourist attractions will continue in the republic. The total amount of the subsidy for these purposes will amount to 35.5 million rubles.
Projects in various districts of the republic will receive support:
- the family route by the “Kray Zemli” company in the Ardatovsky district will be supplemented with comfortable areas for tourists to relax;
- the “Sursky Rubezh” complex in the Bolshebereznikovsky district will get a new themed space in the village of Nikolaevka;
- at the Suzgaryevsky reservoir in the Ruzaevsky district, navigation signs, information support, and small architectural forms will be installed as part of a new tourist route;
- the “Karnay” recreation centre will switch to year‑round operation thanks to the construction of non‑capital guest houses and a café;
- the Radisson hotel will provide catering services for tourist groups;
- the organiser of introductory routes along the Moksha River will purchase rental equipment for river rafting;
- the “Erzya” recreation centre in Kovylkino will be supplemented with entertainment infrastructure and rental equipment;
- the “Inkrua” company will receive new exhibition equipment as part of the development of industrial tourism.
Additionally, 77.3 million rubles from the budget will be allocated to create modular non‑capital accommodation facilities; private investments will amount to the same figure. As a result, the room stock at the recreation centre by the Moksha River in the Kovylkinsky district will be expanded; the “Kray Zemli” guest complex will appear in Ardatov; and additional guest houses will be built at the “Akvatoriya” beach in the Ruzaevsky district.
“The development of tourism infrastructure is one of the region’s priorities,” noted Oksana Larina, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia. “We see growing interest among entrepreneurs in creating new routes and accommodation facilities. Thanks to the national project, we can support their initiatives and make Mordovia more attractive to tourists.”
Support for new projects from entrepreneurs and public organisations will continue next year.
