TECHNOLOGICAL COMPANIES IN MORDOVIA HAVE RECEIVED OVER HALF A BILLION RUBLES IN FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Small technological companies in the country can receive up to 1 billion rubles through the preferential lending program of the federal project “Takeoff – from startup to IPO”. Launched two years ago, it is part of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship”, initiated by the President of the Russian Federation and supervised by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov. As of now, there are currently two such companies in Mordovia. The total amount of financial support from the government amounted to 512 million rubles.

OVER THE YEAR, ABOUT THREE THOUSAND NEW REPRESENTATIVES OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES HAVE EMERGED IN MORDOVIA

Favorable loans, grants, as well as numerous non-financial support measures create favorable conditions for the growth of the number of SMEs in the republic. Thanks to the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative”, initiated by the President of the Russian Federation and supervised by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, the number of SMEs by mid-March 2024 reached 24,113. Thus, compared to the same period last year, the growth exceeded 12%.

MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PARTICIPATED IN A STRATEGIC SESSION FOR CATERING ESTABLISHMENTS

On March 21, employees of the Mordovia Development Corporation attended an event held as part of the strategic session “Strategy for a successful restaurant” by Novikov Group. The speaker of the final training program “Consistent Service Quality is a Component of a Successful Restaurant” was Victoria Filippova, the Head of the training department. The day before, seminars for the audience were conducted by the Director of Development, Olga Strakhova, and the Brand Chef, Alexander Nazarov.

THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT WILL ADDITIONALLY ALLOCATE ABOUT 1 BILLION RUBLES TO SUPPORT THE INDUSTRIAL MORTGAGE PROGRAM

The industrial mortgage is an effective tool to support manufacturing development. This program was launched in 2022 at the initiative of the head of state and allows obtaining a seven-year loan of up to 500 million rubles for the acquisition, construction, modernization, or reconstruction of factory workshops. For enterprises, the preferential interest rate is 5% per annum, while for technological companies it is 3%.

IN MORDOVIA, A TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FLAXSEED OILSEEDS HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO OBTAIN GLUTEN-FREE PRODUCTS

Scientists from Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev have developed a technology for producing flaxseed oilseeds, the processing products of which are an important component in creating gluten-free bakery products. The new development will help create a whole range of import-substituting products and meet the needs of people with celiac disease (gluten intolerance).

A COMPANY FROM MORDOVIA IS COMPETING FOR THE TITLE OF PEOPLE'S ORGANIC BRAND

The Mordovian company “Arivera” is competing for the title of People's Organic Brand. This is a traditional nomination of the National Organic Competition, which is held under the auspices of the Federation Council together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and Roskachestvo, with the support of the “Organika” Fund.

A permanent border crossing point through the state border of the Russian Federation will be opened at the international airport of Saransk. SMALL TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES WILL BE ABLE TO OBTAIN LOANS OF UP TO ONE BILLION RUBLES

The subsidized lending program for high-tech, innovative small and medium-sized businesses at 3% per annum under the federal project “Takeoff – from startup to IPO” is extended to small technology companies. Moreover, the maximum loan amount has been increased to 1 billion rubles. As reported by the official website of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, this is the first implemented measure of financial support for this category of business. For high-tech small and medium-sized enterprises, the amount remains the same - up to 500 million rubles.
