Artyom Zdunov met with Director General of ASI Svetlana Chupsheva
On May 29, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, held a working meeting with Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for Promoting New Projects, who came to Mordovia on a working visit.
It should be recalled that a cooperation agreement has been in force between the region and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives since 2022. Cooperation is conducted in many areas. Artyom Zdunov thanked Svetlana Chupsheva for her comprehensive support. "Thank you for your visit and for your attention to the republic," said the Head of Mordovia. "We work in the entire orbit of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, starting with the National Investment Climate Rating and the Quality of Life Rating."
In the National Rating of the Investment Climate, Mordovia hold leading positions in a number of indicators. In 2024, the republic entered the TOP 5 regions and received the "Growth Leader" award. Artyom Zdunov stressed that the region is also working hard to improve the quality of life. Most of the republic's indicators in the corresponding rating are in the green zone. Special attention is paid to problem points. Among them is the satisfaction of the population with the quality of water. "This year we are launching a large-scale program, we will deal with this issue in detail," said the Head of Mordovia.
Artyom Zdunov mentioned the competition of regional brands, the development of industrial tourism, and participation in the forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age" as very useful projects for the republic.
As the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives noted, the forum's crowd platform received 32,000 applications from all over the country, 1,700 of them from Mordovia. "We are glad that the residents of the republic are actively involved in this project and are finding support," she said.
Svetlana Chupsheva highly appreciated the republic's participation in other ASI programs, and also congratulated the Head of Mordovia on his appointment as Chairman of the State Council's Family Commission. "I think this is one of the key commissions. Issues related to demography, social welfare, and family support are the most urgent right now. We will be glad to organize joint work to develop solutions for the leadership of our country," said the head of the ASI.
