AT MORDOVIAN STATE UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER N.P. OGAREV HAVE DEVELOPED COMBINED SPECTRUM LED PHYTOIRRADIATORS

Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev together with Russian Lighting Research Institute named after Sergey Vavilov (VNISI) and JSC «Ardatovsky Lighting Engineering Plant» have developed and manufactured fundamentally new phytoirradiators based on LEDs with special emission spectra. The work was carried out within the framework of the state program «Priority-2030».

The development is adapted for the cultivation of specific vegetable crops, in particular, cucumber using light culture technology for protected ground structures. You can adjust the irradiation mode to the needs of the cultivated crop at a particular stage of its growth and development.

The phytoirradiator uses LEDs with a power of up to 5.5 W, operating in the optimal power mode for them up to 2.1 W (high efficient flux of a single LED at high efficiency and a sufficiently low temperature on the chip). Distinctive properties are high reliability and long service life.

If necessary, the phytoirradiator can be equipped with secondary optics to form various types of radiation force curve.

The phytoirradiator uses full-spectrum LEDs. This allows revealing the potential inherent in plants, as well as leveling the negative impact on the vision of working personnel from sources that have monochromatic radiation only in the blue and red regions of the spectrum.

The control unit uses the DALI digital control protocol, which allows you to change the spectral composition and radiation flux density.

According to the Telegram channel of the rector of Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev Dmitry Glushko, one of the largest enterprises in Russia for the production of lighting devices JSC «Ardatovsky Lighting Plant» is aimed at developing import-substituting innovative phytoirradiators.
