Awards were presented to the best entrepreneurs of the year in Mordovia
The Day of Russian Entrepreneurship was celebrated in the capital of Mordovia. The event included an exhibition of the self-employed, as well as small and medium-sized businesses. The partners of the holiday, including Mordovia Development Corporation, advised the guests on issues of interest. Business games were held for children and adults.
Traditionally, as part of the holiday, the results of the "Entrepreneur of the Republic of Mordovia" competition for 2024 were summed up. “Over Pharma” LLC (CEO Irina Burdinova) from Ruzaevka was recognized as the best entrepreneur in the region. In the nomination "Entrepreneurship in the field of production", LLC "Mordovian cider" from the Ardatov district became the winner. And the jury members named "Home-smoked" from Saransk as the best regional brand.
In the "Women's Entrepreneurship" category, the award was presented to Irina Tyabina from Saransk. "Saransk" Hotel won the award in the nomination "Entrepreneurship in the field of tourism". Individual entrepreneur Elena Krupnova ("Lev and Pchelka" chain of stores) was recognized as the best in the nomination "Entrepreneurship in the field of trade".
The Kapitonov family (scientific and engineering center "Laboratory of Light Sources" from Saransk) won in the nomination "Family Entrepreneurship". The award "Labor Family Dynasty" was presented to the Mishin family (the "Automechanika" production cooperative from the Ichalkovsky district). In the nomination "Social entrepreneurship", LLC "Young Kulibins" from Saransk won.
Evgeny Kamaev, an individual entrepreneur from Chamzinka, was recognized as the best in the "Entrepreneurship in the field of service provision" nomination. Svetlana Rusyaeva became the "Self–employed of the Year" - she makes handmade dolls. The award "National Recognition" was awarded to individual entrepreneur Svetlana Katkova, head of the "Krechet" Safari Park.
In addition, the launch of the "Business Battle" startup competition was announced as part of the celebration. It will be held in Mordovia for the first time. The project, which starts in August, is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses, searching for promising ideas and popularizing entrepreneurship.
All entrepreneurs over the age of 18 can participate in the competition, regardless of whether they are starting their career or are already successfully developing a business in Mordovia. Participants will have an acceleration program where they will be able to explore the market with mentors, develop a marketing strategy, business plans and financial models. The final of the competition is the presentation of projects in front of an expert commission, which will include the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, business representatives and partners. The winners will receive valuable prizes that will help them develop their projects.
"This is not just a competition, but a powerful impetus for the development of entrepreneurship in the region," said Fatima Gatieva, Advisor to the General Director of Mordovia Development Corporation. - "I have personally seen the effectiveness of this format after attending business battles in Kaliningrad Region and Stavropol Region. I am sure that this project will be no less successful in Mordovia and will benefit local entrepreneurs."
The contest is organized by the Russian Media Group "Western Press" with the support of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia, VTB Bank and RANEPA.
