THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA WAS PRESENTED IN ANHUI PROVINCE, CHINA
The third joint working group of representatives of the Russian
Federation on cooperation with Anhui Province was held in China on May 10-21.
Representatives of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Mordovia, Udmurtia, Kirov,
Orenburg, Penza and Ulyanovsk regions participated in the event.
Mordovia is among top 20 regions of National rating
Top 20 Russian regions of National rating of Investment climate were announced during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2017). The Republic of Mordovia takes the 18th position in the Rating.
TURKISH VICE-CONSUL VISITED MORDOVIA
Vice-Consul of Turkey in Kazan Nurettin Kaya (responsible for economic cooperation) visited Mordovia on May 31. During the visit the Vice-Consul held a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Government – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Mazov. The Turkish party promised to assist in attracting Turkish partners to cooperate with Mordovia and organize the visit of Turkish businesspersons to Saransk.
Mordovia is in top-5 regions with maximum social and political stability
According to the survey conducted by the Saint-Petersburg Politics Fund in April, Mordovia takes the fifth position in the group of regions with maximum social and political stability.
APEC: Vladimir Volkov strengthened his political influence
In April the Agency of Political and Economic Communications (APEC) made the rating of influence of heads of the Russian regions. According to the rating, Head of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov is up for one position and now ranked 27. Thus, he entered the group of regional heads with strong influence, which includes governors ranked 21st to 50th.
BUSINESSMEN FROM NOVOSIBIRSK INVEST 500 MILLION RUBLES IN MORDOVIA
Furniture association Rost working in Novosibirsk since 2004 starts the factory for production of cabinet and cushioned furniture in Mordovia. First products will be released in June 2017 in Ruzaevka (town in Mordovia). About 30 people will be employed at the first stage of project implementation. For the next 4 years Rost company is going to invest 500 million rubles in production in Ruzaevka, the estimated annual revenue is 900 million rubles. Mordovia Development Corporation provides support to the project at the local level. Rost company considered Tambov, Lipetsk and Ryazan as investment sites, but with the assistance of Mordovia Development Corporation it was decided to set up production in Ruzaevka.
Ethnographic Park will open its doors to the residents and guests of Mordovia.
The Ethnographic Park will be built in Podlesnaya Tavla village and all the guests of Saransk during 2018 FIFA World Cup will have an opportunity to learn more about life and culture of Mordovia national village.
Development of agriculture and processing industry in Kochkurovo district
Vladimir Volkov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia, held a meeting with Alexander Pozdnyakov, the manager of Norov farm enterprise, to discuss the results of 2016 and plans for development of agricultural industry in Kochkurovo district.
Аn official delegation of «Air Liquide» (France) visited Saransk
December 15-16, an official delegation of «Air Liquide» (France) - the world leader in the production of gases and services for the industry and public health – visited Saransk. During the visit, a round table was held with the representatives of the regional companies. There were presented innovative products and solutions of «Air Liquide» in the field of mechanical engineering and the food industry. The delegation visited a number of regional companies interested in developing cooperation with the French company.
