MORDOVIA ARENA WILL HOST A UEFA EURO 2020 QUALIFYING MATCH
Football fans in Saransk will have an opportunity to watch one of the Russian team’s UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying games. The national teams of Russia and San-Marino will meet at the main stadium of Mordovia – Mordovia Arena. The game will take place on 8th of June. The information was listed on the official web page of the Russian Football Union.
MORDOVIA IS ONE OF THE LEADING REGIONS IN MILK PRODUCTION
By 1st of December 2018 the production of milk in Russia reached over 14.8 million tons. HEAD OF THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA DISCUSSED THE ISSUES OF THE FIBER-OPTIC PRODUTION IN SARANSK
Head of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov held a business meeting with the CEO of JSC Optovolokonnye sistemy (Fiber-Optic Systems) Andrey Nikolayev. Head of the Republic of Mordovia’s Press Office states that they discussed the results of the company’s work in 2018 and their plans for 2019. Deputy Prime Minister – the Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies Aleksandr Sedov also took part in the discussion.
THE FIFTH RESIDENT OF RUZAEVKA PRIORITY SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA
The number of residents of the first in Mordovia priority social and economic development area (TOSER) Ruzaevka increased to five. At the end of 2018 UF Tekhnolohii and NefteKhimMash received preferential business status. The relevant decision was made by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
THE BEST EXPORTERS WERE AWARDED IN SARANSK
The best exporter of the Republic of Mordovia in 2018 was chosen between small and medium enterprises. Opticenergo company became the winner of the competition for the second time. Export Support Centre of the Republic of Mordovia held the competition for the second year in a row.
NEW SITE FOR RAIL VEHICLES PRODUCTION IN SARANSK
In 2019 it is planned to start the production of innovative rail vehicles in Saransk. The project will provide jobs for up to 600 people. The first production is scheduled for February 2019. Now the company is recruiting staff for the new production that will be established after the modernization of Saransk industrial site of Ruzkhimmash. The company has its own centre for personnel training.
AMENDMENTS TO THE TAX LAWS OF MORDOVIA
At the regular session of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia there were introduced amendments to some tax laws of the Republic of Moldova. They cancel unclaimed tax incentives and benefits, which are considered ineffective according to the results of the assessment carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
On November 23, the Association of clusters and technology parks of Russia held the III Annual practical conference "Industrial Russia 4.0 – improving the competitiveness of regions".

On November 12 Company with limited liability "RMR Digital Technologies" obtained the official status of the resident of Ruzaevka priority social and economic development area. The relevant decision was made by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
BUSINESS DELEGATION FROM THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA ARRIVED IN FINLAND
On November 11, the delegation of representatives of the Republic of Mordovia chaired by the Head of the region Vladimir Volkov arrived in Finland for a business trip. Members of the delegation will have been working with Finnish colleagues in different fields for three days. The delegation includes senior Government officials, representatives of industrial enterprises, public and educational institutions, agro-industrial and processing enterprises.
Last Friday, October 19, the Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov held a working meeting with the managers of the investment project on greenhouse complex construction in Zubovo-Polyansky district to discuss the details of its implementation. The planned amount of investment is about 3 billion rubles. The meeting was attended by a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Head of the United Russia fraction, a member of the State Duma Committee on agricultural issues Viktor Kidyaev.
INVESTORS FROM CHINA SHOWED THEIR INTEREST IN THE PRODUCTION OF MEDICINES IN MORDOVIA
Mordovia senior officials and representatives of Saransk plant Biokhimik discussed cooperation in pharmaceutical production with partners from China during the meeting. According to the press service of the Head of Mordovia, the delegation from Shandong province came to Saransk with business visit. The Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov discussed possible cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry with Pen Xin, General Director of Lukan Pharmaceuticals. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed company Petr Bely, Director of NC Pharm Vasily Mironkin, CEO of Biokhimik Dmitry Zemskov and members of Mordovia Government participated in the meeting.
