Delegation of Mordovia headed by Artyom Zdunov participates in the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World"
Delegation of the Republic of Mordovia is working at the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2025". The delegation is headed by the head of the region, Artyom Zdunov.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the forum participants.
"For centuries, our multinational country has been open to broad cooperation with the states of the Islamic world. And today, despite the difficult international situation, we continue to successfully and consistently expand economic, scientific, educational, humanitarian and interregional contacts.
During the Forum, you will discuss the prospects for further strengthening our ties in various fields, including technology. A meeting of the Russia–Islamic World Strategic Vision Group with the participation of representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be devoted to joint work on the development of the digital financial system.
This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Addressing this significant date will find a worthy place in the business and cultural program of the Forum. It is important for us to cherish the memory of the lessons of history, the courage and solidarity of our ancestors in the fight against Nazism, racism, and colonialism. And nowadays, only together can we ensure the sustainable, harmonious development of the entire world community, effectively counter such modern security threats as terrorism, extremism, and the escalation of local conflicts," the appeal says.
Representatives of government authorities, industrial and agricultural enterprises, and individual entrepreneurs from the Republic of Mordovia are participating in the forum.
