Development of SEZ and industrial park was discussed at the meeting with the Head of Mordovia
On the 3rd of March, the Head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov held a meeting on infrastructure construction as part of the implementation of the socio-economic development program of the Republic of Mordovia for 2022-2026. It was about the development of a special economic zone and the creation of the Svetotekhnika industrial park.
According to the press service of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, the meeting was attended by Acting Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia Batyr Emeev, First Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Tarkaeva, Minister of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia Ivan Gorin, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Mordovia Sergey Tyurkin, Acting Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia Sergey Kulebyakin, Acting General Director of the “Management Company for Industrial Parks of the Republic of Mordovia” Mikhail Chupin.
Svetotekhnika Industrial Park is one of the objects of the socio-economic development program of the Republic of Mordovia, which is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The park will be located in the northern industrial zone of Saransk on the former premises of the Lisma plant. To date, the concept of forming an industrial park has been developed, comprehensive engineering surveys have been carried out, engineering networks have been connected, and contracts for technical connection to gas supply and sanitation networks have been concluded. The locations of distribution and transformer substations have been agreed with potential residents. The preliminary length of roads within the industrial park will be five kilometers, and the engineering networks – 29 kilometers.
The Head of Mordovia stressed the importance of creating an industrial park and developing a special economic zone to attract investors. These are new jobs, additional taxes to the budget of the republic.
