DMITRY PATRUSHEV AND ARTYOM ZDUNOV HAVE LAUNCHED A PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ANIMAL FEED
On February 9, the production of dry pet food was launched in Mordovia at the new production site of the Talina Group of Companies. The symbolic launch of the plant took place at the Republic of Mordovia's stand during the “Russia” exhibition-forum on Agriculture Day. The opening ceremony of the production was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Dmitry Patrushev, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and the founder of the Talina Group, Viktor Biryukov. Employees of the “Dobry Hozyain” enterprise, part of the processing holding, joined the ceremony via video conference from the Atyashevsky district of Mordovia.
The Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Dmitry Patrushev, noted that the stand of the Republic of Mordovia always surprises with its excellent preparation and high-quality products. “The enterprise we are launching today improves food security for our smaller brethren,” he said. “Animal feed production is an area where a few years ago we were not strong, and we had to purchase products. But “Talina” began producing wet feeds a few years ago, and today we are launching a plant for the production of dry feeds. This is a step forward! It is noteworthy that the country is seeing the emergence of closed-cycle enterprises – meat and bone meal is used in the production of such feeds. An excellent enterprise, a wonderful project! The Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, emphasized that the import-substitution project to supply the market with domestic pet food has been implemented with the support of the country's President.
The founder of Talina Group of Companies, Viktor Biryukov, thanked the Minister of Agriculture for supporting the project, and the Head of Mordovia for creating a favorable investment climate in the republic.
