Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia helped SME companies to sign export contracts worth more than 12 million US dollars in 2024
The Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) summed up the work of the regional Export Support Centers (ESC, Center) in 2024. Last year, over 40,000 small and medium-sized enterprises used the services of regional ESCs. With the support of the ESCs more than 3,000 companies have signed contracts with foreign partners totaling 139 billion rubles.
By the end of 2024 the REC has formed a rating of export support centers. The first place in the rating, as well as last year, was taken by the Export Support Center of the Smolensk Oblast. It is followed by the ESCs of the Moscow Oblast and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia took 38th place among 85 subjects of the Russian Federation, ahead of Stavropol Krai, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Kemerovo Oblast - Kuzbass, Volgograd Oblast, Saratov Oblast, Altai Krai, Leningrad Oblast and other regions.
Last year, 214 small and medium-sized enterprises received 476 ESC services in Mordovia. Thanks to the Center's work, 11 small and medium-sized enterprises in the region have signed 36 export contracts totaling 12.5 million US dollars.
The ESC of Mordovia, with the financial support of the Government of Mordovia, also helps large enterprises in the region. Following a September business mission to China organized by the Center, Saransk Instrument Manufacturing Plant and ALS-Povolzhye signed agreements with Chinese instrument manufacturing companies, and Optical Fiber Systems signed a memorandum of cooperation with the fiber-optic enterprise. Last year, more than 20 large enterprises of the region took part in such international events organized by the Center as the exhibitions "Prodexpo", "Russia Halal Expo", "BelAgro", and "Mebel. Interior. Woodworking", "Army", "PowerExpoAlmaty", "BakuBuild" and business missions to China and Turkmenistan.
The Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia provides a wide range of services aimed at expanding the presence of Mordovian companies in foreign markets. These include organizing the participation of enterprises in international business missions and exhibitions, training, assistance in preparing a product for international sales, searching for foreign partners, conducting marketing research and translating a website.
